Taking Selfies Is Not Conceited. Period. Just Ask Your Barber
Please take a picture of yourself. Don't worry, it's not conceited if someone asks you to, right? And believe it or not, we LOVE seeing your selfies, especially when it includes that awesome new hairdo you've been dying to show-off and recreate.
Let me explain.
First off, I would just like to say that we at Eddie's Edition love each and every one of our customers. We look forward to every single appointment. We also appreciate all the support and business you've given us, especially during this uncertain time of the pandemic. We appreciate your business so much that we have implemented a loyalty program at each of our three locations just for you, our beloved customers.
And we appreciate that you love our work so much so that you come back time and time again, but I do want to ask for a small favor, if it so pleases you. We would love it if you took a selfie of yourself the next time you get a haircut or when you like your hairstyle because we would love to share that experience of the selfie with you!
Why, you ask?
Even with multiple clients across three locations (Koreatown, Pasadena, and San Gabriel), we love to share the little moments with each and every one of our customers and appreciate everything they have to offer, especially when it comes to their wonderful pictures of themselves and the haircuts that they love so much. We want to share in your excitement when you get a new haircut, especially during this time when you had to wait 3+ months to get a haircut and/or had to fix a haircut gone wrong. And we know that having good relations with your barber is always a mood booster, nothing feels as good as coming home after a great interaction with your favorite barber! So whatever the case, we would love to see the selfies you take of your marvelous haircut.
And as a plus to showing us your wonderful selfies of your amazing haircuts, we'll be able to whip your hair into the exact same hairstyle that we gave you the last time (this could have either been 3 weeks or 3 months ago—depending on how quickly your hair grows), I just ask that you take a quick selfie (front, side, and back) the moment you like your given hairstyle.
This moment could be right after the appointment is finished (when it's looking all nice and polished and ready for the big virtual date with that girl ~or guy~ you've been talking to for the past three months during this pandemic) or a couple days to a couple weeks later when your hair has had some time to grow out a little bit (if the haircut was a bit too short the first time). And again, once we see the picture, it'll be easy breezy to quickly recreate the look.
And although we usually try our best to take the picture ourselves, we may be prevented from doing so due to the following scenarios.
For example, we might have back-to-back appointments on the day you come in for your haircut and so we are just unable to take the picture due to the lack of time. Or you were finally able to squeeze a quick haircut into your extremely busy schedule during this pandemic (especially if you're an essential worker—thank you for your service) and only planned on staying just long enough for the appointment and didn't plan on having time to chat or take pictures after.
It could also be that you don't like the haircut immediately after the appointment is finished (if it's too short) so you want to let your hair grow out a bit before you're comfortable with any picture being taken. Or maybe you're just really shy (which is no problem whatsoever) and you would feel more comfortable taking the selfie in the comfort of your own home than in a public salon.
Whichever the case, we would be more than appreciative if you take that selfie of your haircut as soon as you like the length and style and would love to look at the pictures you have taken of yourself with the haircut you love when you come in for your next appointment.
So really, anytime you're feeling your new hairdo and you just want to share it with the world, don't forget to take some additional pictures of your hairstyle so we too can reminisce on the experience of that haircutting experience!
P.S. This also gives you an additional excuse to take some more pictures of yourself without any judgment from others. Just tell them your barber asked you to and they should understand.
